Customizable Mac Software

Disable each key switch, swap CapsLock and Ctrl keys, set indicator LED colors, and, on models with APC functionality, individually set the response position of each keyswitch.

APC (Actuation Point Changer) function that allows adjustment of switch on position

Topre's unique APC function enables up to 25% faster input than with ordinary mechanical key switches (according to our own research). The on-position of each keyswitch can be adjusted in three steps of 1.5mm, 2.2mm, and 3mm to optimize the keyswitch response speed. For example, keys that you want to input quickly can be set to 1.5 mm, while keys that you want to prevent accidental typing can be set to 3 mm.

Stress-Free Silent Keyswitch

The waveform data in the figure is an example of extracted 2,500 to 5,000 Hz, a frequency component with high human auditory sensitivity, from keystroke recording data by the same subject for standard and Silent keyboards. Compared to the standard key-switch keyboard, the amplitude (vertical axis direction) of the silent key-switch keyboard is much lower, indicating less stimulation to the ear.

Color-changing indicators

The LED color of the indicator that shows the status of CapsLock, Win mode, etc. can be customized by selecting from seven colors according to your preference by operating the keyboard, and the brightness of the LED can be adjusted.

Cable can be extended in 3 directions

The cable outlets are placed on the left, right and upper side of the keyboard. Cable outlets in 3 directions allows for optimal placement according to the installation environment.

More traction and more stability

By increasing the surface area of the bottom rubber pads fourfold, and by adopting a soft resin material on the bottom of the tilt stand, the keyboard is more stable and less likely to accidentally be displaced on glossy surfaces such as glass.

Adjustable by key spacer

Two types of integral key spacers with 2mm and 3mm thickness and a key top puller are attached. Installing the integral type key spacer under the key top according to the APC function setting provides for faster keystroke return, allowing for quicker key input.
